Google will be on campus September 10 for an exclusive, hands-on introduction to the newly released AI tools — Gemini and NotebookLM. Interactive sessions will help Rice University faculty, staff, and students explore how these cutting-edge tools can elevate research, teaching, collaboration, and learning. Space is limited.

Responsible AI Statement

We will position Rice University as a global leader in the development, application, and understanding of responsible AI, advancements in computing, and disruptive technologies. We will do this by fostering cutting-edge research on foundational AI and machine learning, developing interdisciplinary applications of AI to create innovative solutions that integrate behavioral and societal impacts in collaboration with industry and nonprofit partners, leading in ethical advancement and understanding of these applications, and creating distinctive, cross-disciplinary educational programs in responsible AI to guide ethical advancements from technological disruptions.
